3 Pests in a Mess

Moe, Larry, and Curly are in some trouble with a few ghouls!

"I have a feeling evil is lurking about!"

Friend Daniel

Here is a nice shot of J. Carrol Naish as Daniel in "House of Frankenstein".

"I was lucky that this uniform was fit for
a hunchback!"

One Last Post for the Boris Karloff Blog-A-Thon

The week long Boris Karloff Blog-A-Thon is officially over.  It was extremely fun to see everyone's tribute to Karloff.  Thank you Frankensteinia for a wonderful idea that all fans of horror can appreciate.

Of course there will be plenty more Karloff in the future, but for the end of the Blog-A-Thon, I thought I would post a still from "Son of Frankenstein" that brings back many childhood memories.  I used to think Frankenstein was laying in popcorn instead of wearing a furry vest.

This Frankenstein popcorn can use some
butter.

The Fly

Here are some images from "The Fly".  The ending of this film is truly one of the most horrifying things I have ever seen.

Who's POV is that?  And who can cause that kind
of reaction?

Me!  The Fly Man!

There is a fly caught in that web with a white head and
white leg...

"Help me!"  - Just looking at this picture really
freaks me out.

Comic Frankenstein

Here is an old Frankenstein comic book.  I want one!

Unlucky Larry

Lon Chaney is back as The Wolf Man in "House of Frankenstein".

"This is my idea of comfort.  Solid comfort."

It's Black Friday!

It's the day after Thanksgiving and we all know what that means!  It's Black Friday!

"Black Friday"

"Don't be scared..."

The Hands of...

Bela Lugosi and his Hungarian double joints!

Bela was hypnotized to make his death
scene seem real to him.

"Dinner's ready!"

"The turkey is a little dry..."

The Boris Karloff Blog-A-Thon - Preparing for Imhotep

Boris Karloff is preparing for his role of Imhotep in "The Mummy".

"So I go for a little walk I see..."

Randy Stuart shows her concern for her shrinking husband, Grant Williams.

"Why you are rather small..."

Elena Verdugo

It's Elena Verdugo as Ilonka from "House of Frankenstein"!

"Now don't start barking at me!"

It is Karloff's birthday today!  Happy Birthday Karloff the Uncanny!

Godzilla's Revenge

Here is a poster of "Godzilla's Revenge".  I love this picture!

How to Make a Gamera

It's the inner workings of one of Japan's most famous monsters: Gamera!

"Let's play Operation!"

The Wolf Man is Back!

Frank or Bust

I was searching the internet one day and just came across this very neat life size bust of Frankenstein.

"This is what happens when you meet Medusa."

Rick Baker is Ygor

Here are two shots of Rick Baker: Monster Maker as Ygor from "Son of Frankenstein".

"I stole bodies...  They said."

"My horn!"

L'homme Invisible

This is a french poster for a recent screening of "The Invisible Man".  I love this image of Rains as the Invisible One.  Notice the black material where his chin should be.  That gives a little insight on how the invisible effects were done.

King Kong Statue

Here is a very rare statue of the 1976 version of King Kong.  These were made for cast, crew, and promotions.

"Grrr"

"Argh"

The Mummy is Aging

Here is Lon Chaney, Jr. playing a Mummy more than 20 years after he was first wrapped in bandages for "The Mummy's Tomb".

Mummies eat very well, as you can see.

Krull

Here are some of the monsters that inhabit the world of Krull.

"Krull"

"I'm keeping my eye on you!"

"I have black eyes and I like peas."

"Scary, aren't I?"

It's the Ackenstein Monster!

This is a mask of Forrest Ackerman as Frankenstein made by Kelly Mann.  Kelly was nice enough to make me a copy.  I love it!
