The Boring Mr. Hyde

I'm sorry to say that I'm not a huge fan of the Spencer Tracy version of "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde".

    I never liked this version either. I have it on DVD (it came with the Fredric March 1932 version), so I'll have to sit down and view it again to pin point why I don't like it.

    I concur. I suspect the sordid aspects of the story are better told in a precode environment.

    Yea I think a big thing was that an elaborate make-up wasn't used.
