Hanging Out with an Ape

I'm not sure what the backstory is of this photo, but here we have an Orangutan from one of the "Planet of the Apes" films.

    The photo looks to be taken on the 20th Century Fox backlot where both the TV series of Peyton Place (1965-69) and the 1968, Planet of the Apes were filmed.
    Maurice Evans who played Dr Zaius in PotA appeared with Mia Farrow in Roman Polanski's, Rosemary's Baby who was a regular on the Peyton Place series.
