I wish he was still there today!

Uncle Forry's AckerMansions!

I love this art of a dvd I found on ebay.  Not only does it feature Forry and some great monsters, but it's inspired by the Haunted Mansion Disneyland Attraction Poster!

The Disneyland Magic Shop

Once upon a time, the Don Post Universal Monster Masks were sold at the Magic Shop in Disneyland. I wish they still had them today!

Phantom of Disneyland

Thank you to Dave from Davelandweb for posting these amazing photos of the Phantom of the Opera at Disneyland.  The Main Street Cinema used to play old silents like "Phantom of the Opera" and "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde".  To promote these films, this guy would be walking down Main Street.  I wish they still did this today!

"I hear The Haunted Mansion is looking for ghost
number 1000!"

"Mickey Mouse can't save your children!"

"Come inside and see me!"

Monsters Love Disneyland

I love this photo because it combines my two favorite things: Monsters and Disneyland.

They all have remarkable heads for materializing
the disembodied.

Happy Birthday Walt Disney!

Even though Walt Disney brought happiness to billions throughout the world, there are countless villains and scary attractions that frighten people to this day.  Here is Walt, my favorite villain, and my favorite attraction.

Abraham Lincoln: A Monster?

I know Abe Lincoln is not really a monster, but I found this behind the scenes picture from Disneyland's "Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln".  This is a close-up of the Lincoln audio-animatronic and it is the scariest thing I have ever seen!

"Four screams and seven deaths ago..."

40 Years of Grim Grinning Ghosts

I have decided to move away from horror in the film world for this post.  Today we will be looking at one of the most amazing attractions to ever be imagineered.  That is "The Haunted Mansion" at Disneyland, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year!

Welcome Foolish Mortals!

A strange deserted mansion in New Orleans Square

"Is this haunted room actually stretching?"

"Perhaps Madame Leota can establish contact.
She has a remarkable head for materializing
the disembodied!"

"They're establishing for a swinging wake!"

"Grim Grinning Ghosts come out to socialize!"

"Beware of hitchhiking ghosts!"
