Monsterpalooza 2015

Another successful Monsterpalooza occurred this weekend.  In Burbank, California, only minutes away from Universal Studios where such classics as "Frankenstein", "Dracula", and "The Wolf Man" were filmed, monster fans from all around the world join together and celebrate the art of the monsters.  Below are some of my favorite pieces from the show.

Lifesize Aurora Wolf Man
Lifesize Aurora Mummy
Lifesize Aurora Frankenstein
The Unholy Three
From "Gremlins 2"
The Gunslinger from "Westworld"
The Caretaker from Disneyland's "The Haunted Mansion."
From "Evil Dead II"
A Mr. Sardonicus Puppet!

Monsterpalooza 2013

Below are some photos I took at this year's Monsterpalooza show in Burbank, California.  First up was my favorite piece in the show!

Quint, Brody, and Hooper from Jaws!

Side Shot of these Shark Hunters.

Regan from The Exorcist!

Fans of The Walking Dead will recognize these two fellas!

Even an animated Ray Bradbury made an appearance!

Mike Hill did it again with The Phantom!

Another shot of Erik.

Mike Hill also created this Nosferatu!

Casey Wong had his take on the Phantom, but this time with Christine!

Closeup of the Phantom

I must say I was very happy to find my favorite zombie!

Monsterpalooza Week!

One of my favorite displays at this year's Monsterpalozza was presented by the Universal Monster Army. Their display was a replica of every Monster Kid's dream shop. It was like going back in time to the 1960s and finding all your favorite Monster collectibles. Then to add to the display, they included a huge replica of the Frankenstein Walker! Some neat stuff!
