Halloween II vs. Halloween II

This past weekend I saw Rob Zombie's "Halloween II".  It was actually pretty decent.  I thought it would be nice to see a comparison of "Halloween II" (1981) to "Halloween II" (2009).

And a Happy Birthday to Mary Shelly!

Mary Shelly was born 202 years ago today.  Without her wonderful story of "Frankenstein", the world would be missing out on many of Universal's Classic Monster movies.

For today's Mary Shelly post, I thought I would show how the Frankenstein Monster has changed throughout the Universal series.

Happy Birthday Mr. Hyde!

112 years ago a boy was born.  That boy grew up to be a world famous actor.  He won an Academy Award in 1931 for his amazing performance as Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

Creature's Features

Here are some great fotos of that Gilman that everyone loves, The Creature from the Black Lagoon!

The "Westworld" Gunslinger!

This past week I watched for the first time the sequel to "Westworld".  That film is called "Futureworld".  It is not very good, but it did remind me of how great a film "Westworld" is and how scary Yul Brynner is as the Gunslinger.

Halloween in August?

Since Rob Zombie's "Halloween 2" opens today in theaters, I thought we would look back to where it all started.  The best "Halloween" of them all.

"Knock, Knock!"

Can't see a title?  Well there is a very good reason for that.  It is invisible in honor for these photos of The Invisible Man played by Claude Rains!
