+1. I remember buying this book in 1976 for $10 in a Sydney bookshop. One of my first Horror books as well. I think my first was 'Horror Movies' by Alan G Frank as well as Bill Everson's 'Classics of the Horror Film'. Incredible books all and started me on my journey of Horror film appreciation.
Also one of my first horror movie books, the first was Carlos Clarens' Horror Movies an Illustrated Survey, still have all of these and it's quite a nostalgia trip to look at them again, not only to recall the time that they were bought but to relive the classic early decades of horror cinema. That cover looks in better condition than mine does after all these years and regular thumb throughs.
Good Sir.... My very First Horror Book....!!!
ReplyDeleteAgreed, this is one of the best; very nice to see the full wrap-around cover.
