A Sun Bathing Gorilla?

I believe this is Rick Baker in one of his gorilla costumes, taking a break.
Does anyone know what picture this is on the set of? King Kong perhaps?

  3. That is not Kong, looks more like the superior "Dino" suit he built after his bad experience on that horrid remake. This was a photo taken for an article in US magazine from '76 or '77.

  5. Yea my first instinct was that it wasn't Kong... That movie does get a bad rap. I like it a lot.
